Vehicle Routing Problem with Stochastic Demands

  1. Go to Flavors section.
  2. Select Benchmarks / GeoMap / Route Sheet link of Stochastic Vehicle Routing Problem or Select Stochastic VRPBenchmarks / GeoMap / Route Sheet menu as shown Figure.

Access to VRPSD Benchmarks / GeoMap / Route Sheet

  1. For this tutorial, select Benchmarks.
  2. VRPSD Benchmarks workspace will be launch as shown in Figure.
  3. Double-click any customer to display information related to that particular customer. Parameters for distribution function represent the stochastic customer demands.

Problem View in VRPSD Benchmarks Workspace and Station Information Dialog Box

  1. Go to Default Scheduler Library in Scheduler tab.
  2. Double-click one scheduler method, i.e. SAM scheduler method.
  3. Take note of the caption title: VRPSD: Instances(A-n32-k5)(SAM)
  4. Click Schedule button to run SAM solution method on A-n32-k5 problem instance.
  5. Routing graph will be displayed as shown in Figure.
